Jack Heist

In the heart of New Los Angeles, a sprawling metropolis where neon lights reflect off rain-slicked streets, whispers of a mysterious figure move through the underworld. They call him Jack Heist, a ghost in the digital machine, a modern-day Robin Hood for the downtrodden. Jack Heist is an enigma, a phantom hacker who robs the rich corporations that drain the city’s lifeblood, trickling his stolen wealth into the hands of the forgotten—small amounts, subtle enough to slip under the radar of the most powerful organizations.

But there’s one person in New Los Angeles who knows nothing of Jack Heist: Javier Vasquez, the very man who is Jack Heist.

Javier suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder. By day, he’s a reclusive, mild-mannered young man who works in a small tech repair shop, his life routine, unassuming, and lonely. He can’t explain the gaps in his memory, the sense of something missing each morning. All he knows is that he’s always tired, as if he’s living two lives—though he couldn’t possibly know the truth.

Jack Heist is not just Javier’s alter ego. He is his protector, his vengeance, his retribution against a world that wronged him. Jack Heist is the city’s ghost—a living, breathing contradiction. And in New Los Angeles, he’s as real as the lights that never go out.
