The story of the Dragonites is one of betrayal, a tale etched in the bitterness of broken bonds and curses. Their king, the ruler of shadows and scales, was not always the tyrant he has become. Once, he was an Ultranite—a being of pure energy and strength, blessed by the luminescent powers of Planet Ultra. Born as the younger brother of the King of Ultra, he was a prince with power and ambition, but also with a shadow in his heart. Unlike his elder brother, the rightful ruler, the younger prince craved dominion, not just over his own world, but over all worlds.​

Driven by ambition, he attempted to wrest the throne from his brother in a coup that nearly tore the kingdom apart. But the King of Ultra, wise and just, saw through his treachery. With a heavy heart, he confronted his brother in battle, quelling the rebellion but unable to bring himself to destroy his own blood. Instead, he invoked an ancient curse, one that bound his brother to the essence of a dragon—a creature of raw, unchained power, but also one chained by its own nature.

The curse transformed him, mutating his once radiant form into a monstrous hybrid of human and dragon. Scales covered his skin, his eyes glowed with a fiery hunger, and his heart was filled with a new, insatiable rage. His wings, black as midnight, spread wide, casting a shadow that would darken any world he approached. With this curse, the King of Ultra banished his brother, sending him beyond the edges of known space, exiling him to a desolate, forsaken world that would come to be known as the Dragonite Planet.
